You guys know that I am a huge fan of H. P. Lovecraft , the master of twisted horror literature. So when I was strolling around an antique book shop I found something that knocked me out of my shoes: a Necronomicon! Well, it wasn’t the real thing but it was amazing nonetheless.
It was bound in black leather with a golden emblem, which was impressive on itself but this book contained Necronomicon – The Best Weird Tales of H. P. Lovecraft a collection of historic tales. It was written entirely in English and includes an epilogue by Stephen Jones. It also features illustrations by Les Edwards, which makes this book a gem that should be stored in a black library in the sunken city R’lyeh instead of the book case of a mortal one.
