Next to giants like the annually occurring GamesCom in Cologne, one tends to forget the other great gaming venues Germany has to offer. One of these is the Berlin International Games Week, which offers lots of different kinds of events about Gaming in general. From presenting yet unknown Indie Games to job mediation for the industry, the Games Week has something for everyone.

One of the highlights the Games Week has to offer is without a doubt the amateur gaming tournament on Saturday the 30th of April in which everyone can participate. Half of the registration fees are donated to Gaming-Aid, a non-profit organization supporting people in need.

So, if you happen to be in Berlin in between April 18 – 24 and if you are interested in Gaming, don’t hesitate to pay visit.
