Humorous, crazy and extrovert, not even those terms suffice to describe the fashion designer Maikel Tawadros. This designer clashes with conventions and positions himself far from the standard. They are bold and not always wearable, a symbiosis of art and fashion! The graduate of the Copenhagen “Academy of Fashion Design” loves brinkmanship and presents experimental creations.
Since 2012, there has been the eponymous fashion label under which exciting and extravagant womenswear collections are created year after year. The current winter collection is named “Nomad” and is a combination of fetish, lifestyle and urban streetwear. Maikel Tawadros shows his idea of ??femininity almost exclusively in dark shades.
Leather, cut-outs, asymmetry and transparency are the key players in this wild fashion line. The pieces are so versatile that the first look quickly flits from one feature to the next, attracted by the extraordinary details that put the femininity in a new light. Knitted sweaters and leather leggings are the simplest pieces of the collection. Fur vests, transparent tops, leather shorts, oversized blazers and leather costumes speak volumes.
