Andreas Gaibler considers himself something of a folk rock’n’roller, and he’s just gifted the world with a brand new album. For his fifth studio album, the highly creative Austrian has invented a fictional character, which he’s named the Mountain Man. That’s the name of the album as well as the first single on the album.

This superhero of the mountains is, ironically, quite a down-to-earth guy. The album deals with his love for women and the mountains, with a dash of social commentary and sayings such as “my grandpa once said…” sprinkled in.

If you’re keeping an ear out for a beautiful mixture of folk music and rock, you can’t go wrong with Mountain Man!
