One of my favourite labels, By Dimitri, produces classic fashion embellished with extravagant details. Their winter collection of 2015/16 is further proof of the irrepressible creativity of designer Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos. These “Made in Italy” creations are a fresh breath of air in the fashion scene, astonishing loyal fans while establishing new ones.
The autumn and winter line can be described in two words: Bohemian charm. The concept is as clever as it is original, pairing classics with new and passionate ideas. The feminine silhouette is rediscovered alongside legendary pieces of womenswear, and hippie, bohemian and ethnic themes can be seen in the specific detailing, as well as in the colour scheme. Beige, light olive green, gold, and copper as well as burgundy, pink and black dominate the picture.
Any young woman would be seduced by the modernity of the combinations. Dresses are spiced up with some fringes or pleats, while fur vests are worn over maxi-cardigans.
