If you want to have sex with someone you don’t really know, you’d better use a condom! Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are way more common than you think – and they’re pretty nasty! Several students from the Isaac Newton Academy in Ilford have now developed condoms that change color as soon as they detect STIs, with colors that vary depending on the disease.

This way, you can pat yourself on the back for having acted maturely, as well as tell your partner that they’d better get themselves checked out. Considering that the students who invented the condoms are only 13 to 14 years old, this certainly is a genius idea! I hope they’ll be available on the market soon.
