The Dondup’s men’s collection for the spring and summer of 2015 comprises of casual outfits imbued with sporty leisure-character. Every outfit consists of two or three coordinated pieces – the pants and jacket are chromatically and stylistically coordinated with each other, rounding the outfit off and allowing it to complete itself. Dondup was founded in 1999 and is well-known for its denim-fashion.
Jeans are therefore one of the most important pieces in the summer collection. It forms the basis of the outfit and determines its direction. Little touches like inserted rubber forms, patches and holes, individualise each pair. Red, blue, olive, white and grey or black – the colors of the jeans can be found repeating themselves in the tops and outerwear.
You can combine similar or different colours with one another – there’s something to be said for doing it both ways! Sweaters, shirts or t-shirts are either monochromatic or subtly fitted with patterns or prints. I particularly like the diverse selection of jackets: sport coats, bomber jackets, biker or college jackets provide the finishing touches to this collection.
