Sneakers are classic shoes, having already found their way from the world of sports down to the streets. Nowadays, they are a must for every trend-setter and every fashionista – when it comes to the topic of sneakers, there are no “no-go zones” to be found. They round off every outfit and are the absolute number one in terms of comfort.
D.A.T.E Sneaker is a label that has dedicated itself exclusively to the design of these wonderful pieces for women, men and kids alike. Here, the sneaker is reinvented specifically for a display of extravagance. The initials of its four founders form the name D.A.T.E. They first met in London and faced many difficulties in the beginning; their first collection was in fact prepared single-handedly by the four of them.
2006 was the year of their first great success. Fortunately so, because since then we are able to look forward to new sneaker collections each year. The classical sneaker-form forms the basis and the foundation for detailed artwork. Their various sneaker cuts range to just below or right on the ankle, and are characterised by their colors and patterns.
My all-time favourite of theirs would be the floral model – it is dedicated to the summer and loosens up every look. While the male collection is comprised mainly of straight-forward colours, the ladies’ sneakers appear absolutely wild thanks to speckles, dots and leopard prints.
