The “Antilopen Gang” is a rap-combo from Dusseldorf. Danger, Dan, Panik Panzer and Kojah are the members. Another member, NMZS, committed suicide in March 2013.
The combo was formed from the former Anti-Alles-Aktion in 2009. The four of former nine members started collaborating under a name created by their common interest in eating antelopes and other unusual meat in a delicatessen restaurant.
The gang’s style is aggressive, self-ironic and well-conceived. Yes, that’s possible! Against everything – just to be against it – and yet not against it … you know? Well, check out their songs! They are really good and deal with serious topics, such as the right-wing radicalism, which is regaining strength, with Swabians and hipsters and of course shitty uni. They even make fun of themselves in their songs, which is why these guys are so likeable.
Their new album “Aversion” was just released on 7 November 2014 and is dedicated to their former band member and friend NMZS.
