Damon Albarn is the well-known lead singer of the legendary band Blur and also the creative head of the comic-styled band Gorillaz. He has mentioned the need to continue the journey of the fictional, drawn characters in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald. This time they are going to collaborate with several artists once again, such as Paul Simonon (the Clash) and Simon Tong (the Verve).

According to his own statements, the songs are already written and should be recorded soon. 2016 is going to be THE year for all Gorillaz fans. I am dying to get my hands on this record.
