Who still wants to wear trendy and fashionable biker and leather jackets in the cold season should have taken the chance to visit the Panorama Messe Berlin and check out the booth of the brand  Mauritius which presented its fall and winter collection 2015/2016 there. Mauritius is a fashion label which is not unknown in the leather clothing branch because the enterprise can look back at 35 years of experience. Her collections mainly consist of naturally dyed leather jackets which are mixed with cloth fabrics and feature lambskin accentuations. Nevertheless, today I’m going to present to you the collection for the fall and winter 2014/2015.

In general, this collection appears elegant and yet somewhat edgy, mature but not old-fashioned. All models are marked by one particular length which reaches right above the waistband. Furthermore, the jackets are fashioned to fit the wearer’s body well to ensure a flattering effect. The colors form a typical wintery palette with their black, dark blue and brown shades. The black women’s jacket Tonya made of wool and leather with black lambskin collar seems unobtrusively luxurious due to the plain all-black look.

But then we have the cognac-colored men’s jacket Hagan with the sewn-on chest pockets and the lambskin collar which exudes a nonchalant and charming easygoingness. Another creation for women with the name Min appears noble as well as rakish. Min in fact is a black jacket with quilted sleeves whose stitching forms rhombus-shaped panels. Just like the previously mentioned jacket Hagan, Min too features a white lambskin collar. However, the jacket consists of washed-out leather and therefore shows a completely different texture. The brown-red biker jacket Clare impresses with a standing collar. Thanks to her cut and the reddish collar, it exudes a rather sporty and casual character.

I am sure the collection will make the heart of everyone who loves leather jackets leap for joy. Well, in general leather jackets are a crucial part of any man’s and woman’s wardrobe, it seems, which only leads to one conclusion: Mauritius is pretty awesome!
