Hey Beauties.

When I came back to Cologne this morning I received a cute little and long aiwaited package. Roughly 4 weeks ago I ordered a couple of nail accessories on eBay and you know how it is. When things are being sent from China you really have to wait. I hope though that this tutorial featuring golden studs will be worth it. Have fun!

What you will need:

1x black polish
1x mattifying topcoat
1x golden glitter polish with big glitter particles
Studs (buy here)
1x pair of tweezers

Step 1
Let’s start off with the jet black nail polish. Mine is from Maybelline New York.

Step 2
I decided to use two studs today. I placed them in the center of the manicure, which means on my middle and ring finger. And because you just painted your nails, the polish is still wet and will secure the studs in place without any glue whatsoever.

Step 3
To prevent the other nails from looking too boring I mattified my pointer, pinkie and thumb with the mattifying topcoat. I have been using the one by Essie  for a while now and I’m really satisfied with its performance. You can however, find cheaper alternatives in the drugstore.

Step 4
Then take your glitter polish and spread the big glitter particles onto the matte nails. I just dipped and dabbed the little brush of the polish on my nails so that I don’t cover up the complete matte look with it.

Yours truly,
Lana Hoang
