Dad, you’re doing this because you’re scared to death, like the rest of us, that you don’t matter!

Release: 29 January 2015
Direction: Alejandro González Iñárritu
Starring: Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Keaton

A has-been movie star wants to show everyone what he can. So, he starts to write a Broadway play. While his daughter comes home from the rehab and, shortly after, his main cast has to be changed because of an accident, he realizes how everything is slowly falling into chaos.  The new protagonist is a talented actor, but also comes onto his daughter in a not charming way and is pretty choleric. Little by little, Riggan Thomson’s (Michael Keaton) construction seems to shatter. Precisely when one imagines that things could not be worse, his girlfriend suddenly gets pregnant and his ex-wife arrives outside his door.  This just can’t be true! A man’s last proof, his last art work, and now that?

The movie has mainly received good to great feedback thanks to its well-played characters and ironic-comedic script. Dismantling of the Hollywood theater – unmissable!
