Not one, not two, but three designers have pledged their minds and stamina to the Hungarian fashion label Use unused. Eszter Füzes, Attila Godena-Juhász and András Tóth founded the brand back in 2004 to introduce the Hungarian style and its contemporary design to the fashion industry. To differentiate their label from their competitors the three of them always look out for new designs that match the style of the brand which truly expresses “Made in Budapest”. Nonetheless we’re quite confident that the Berlin style will also be a great source of inspiration for countless designers during their stay in our beautiful hometown within the frameworks of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

What stands out is the fact that art is the center of Use unused’s fashion. Take for instance the Summer Collection of 2015. The line has been completely dedicated to the underwater world, especially the classic novel “20.000 Leagues Under the Sea” by Jules Verne and its science-fiction movie adaptation. This information already indicates the color palette that has been used in this collection. Look out for the typical white of the water spray, the soft orange of corals and the blue and greens in the water, which have been incorporated into this fashion. Even the movements of the waves have been graphically captured on some of the fashion items.

The style can be described as chic, classic, casual, purist, yet still feminine. Instead of chaotic structures, soft lines have been used, which look especially well done in dresses, overalls and caste jackets. The delicate structures perfectly mirror the timid ocean and remind us of our last vacations. T-shirts are even partially decorated with applications.
