Today I have a look for you, that is perfect for the Christmas season. It is a very unique lip combination, that is made of a duochrome green and brown metallic finish. To lead the focus on to your lips you should combine it with a simple eyeliner and subtle makeup on your cheek area.
Because this look is very unique, you can also use it for editorial shootings.
Step 1: First line your lips using a dark lip liner. The one I’m using here is a dark red by Bobbi Brown.
Step 2: Now fill in your lips with a dark lipstick, like for example the color ‘Media’ by MAC.
Step 3: To achieve the metallic shimmer on your lips, you will need a base that the eyeshadow pigment can stick to. The perfect product to do so, is a clear lipgloss, for example from MAC.
Dab the gloss lightly on to your lips. Then take the eyeshadow pigment, the one I’m using here is called ‘Insomnia’ by Makeup Geek, and dab it on top of the clear gloss.
