On the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, successful and renowned designers from Berlin and throughout the world honor us with the presentation of their latest designs. Frida Weyer will participate in the coming edition in January 2015, showing us her looks for the fall and winter 2015/2016. The Berlin-born designer is deeply connected with her home city, she grew up there and graduated from the Berlin-based Esmod. Since the foundation of her brand in the year 2008, this talented fashion creator was graced with the honor to showcase her collections two times in a year at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Immediately, after she called her eponymous label to life, her individual creations were rained with praise. The national as well as the international fashion scene was incredibly fascinated by the elegance of her fashion which is marked by countless details. A mysterious touch lingers on her designs which are flattering the femininity of the wearer.

The summer collection 2015 bears the title “Drunk in Love”. The different models represent the different stations of a romance – from getting to know each other to the Happy End. Romance is written in capital letters here and showcased in various facets as an omnipresent stylistic device. The glamorous key piece of the feminine wardrobe, the dress, therefor forms the base of different looks and defines the entire assortment the most. Nevertheless, skirts, jumpsuits or overalls as well as tops can be discovered here as well.

Some creations are marked by an elegant, timeless, discreet and seductive black. The shimmering fabric is furthermore complemented by lace which bestows a seductive appearance upon dresses and jumpsuits. Sensual draperies and soft silky pleated structures represent crucial components of the collections and stand for delicate sexiness. Discreet metallic colors, salmon and rose paired with feminine cuts turn each dress into a real dream. The love play is completed by bright white. Here, lace and pleated structures are used as well to give the collection something sensual and angelic. Floor-length dresses with timid draped fabrics take this relationship to the wedding altar.
