Filippa K stands for “quality made in Sweden“. Since its foundation by Filippa Knutsson and Patrik Kihlborg in 1993, it has been standing for Scandinavian quality. A clear style, timeless design and defined structures are the brand’s features. In January, the Stockholm-based label will visit Berlin in order to present their winter collection 2015/16 at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

The simple design is marked by contemporary, timeless chic. This can be seen in the winter collection where elegant cuts meet plain colors. Black, white and grey also appeal to fans of classic elegant colors. Femininity for the office and for free time activities are defined by blazers, coats, pleated skirts and dresses. The flowing dress and also the casual pants are the main pieces of this line. Boyish maxi-cuts provide the collection with a modern touch.

Also the spring  looks appear in a classic and Scandinavian look. While white remains a crucial color, black and grey are mostly replaced by off-white and brown. The motto is again „less is more“. Straight cuts and body-shaping lines are incorporated into the looks. Casual cloth pants are worn with body-shaping tops and straight coats are combined with skinny pants. This mixture is casual, but still feminine. Yes, you can say that this collection is marked by Filippa K’s unique style through and through.
