Designers such as Esther Perbandt can’t be missing at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, considering the fact that she is also one of the most successful German fashion designers. She was born and raised in Berlin, a city that has always defined her style. Her career led her to many countries, such as Russia or France. However, she went back to her roots. Since 2004, she has lived and has worked in her hometown where she also runs her eponymous label.
With her urban creations she reflects Berlin’s witty and cheeky charm. Urbanity and open-mindedness are completed with the love for detail. While youth and sportiness are put into the center, it’s also elegance that plays a dominant role. Together they form a refreshing form of the urban lifestyle.
Esther creates fashion for both men and women. The newest collection for fall and winter 2014 is provocative and discreetly elegant at the same time. Men still wear suits but these ones include voluminous sports jackets or casual low-crotch cuts.
