After having graduated in Vienna, it took two years until Michaela Mayer-Lee founded her own label Michel Mayer. Since its foundation, the designer has presented her couture collections and bridal lines at numerous international fashion fairs. The last time you had the chance to take part was September 11 when Michaela Mayer-Lee presented her newest collection for SS15 at the MQ Vienna Fashion Week.
However, it is not only the couture fashion that is popular, but also the ready-to-wear line. Its summer version 2014 unifies totally different color shades into a colorful to classic spectacle. The elegant, chic character is created by both pastel and creamy shades, by black and white, but also by colors such as yellow or turquoise. Even the cuts easily combine straight and flowing lines. Also, interplays between classic femininity and modern-artistic, sophisticated and outstanding details are created. Those include wavy cut-outs and waterfall necklines or asymmetric vests and lace.
Once more, in the winter line 2014/15, the trend-setting and creative designer plays with flowing fabrics. Asymmetric lines and wrapped looks are outstanding features, as well as lavishly designed necklines. This feminine fashion is accentuated by dominant shoulders and sensual details, and is completed by the contrast with the clear lines.
