In the course of the London Fashion Week, Brazilian designer and London-based Lucas Nascimento presented his latest collection for Fall/Winter. He is known to create knitwear with artful gimmicks in terms of patterns and colors. The fashion he designs is far away from short-lived trends and mainstream pieces.
The style of the collection is defined by minimalistic cuttings with a particular focus on the feminine body and alternative silhouettes. While the structure of the fashion pieces is sophisticated and intense, the colors are the real statements here. Dark and intensely pigmented shades rule the fashion line and are beautifully intercepted by bold and vibrant colors. A relaxed interaction between casually cut and tapered pants, straight pencil skirts and knitted sweaters paired with oversized coats and dresses is beautifully incorporated into the line. The Fall/Winter collection for 2014/15 truly embodies pure minimalism with elegant traits.
