Today, the photographer, filmmaker and visual artist Matt Lambert is living in Berlin. Previously, he travelled all over the world calling LA, NY and London his residences. He makes short films, music videos, fashion videos, documentaries, commercials and even some other genres. But Matt Lambert is just as much involved in the photography scene. From portrait photography to fashion photography – he simply is a true allrounder.
His works often show an intimate glimpse into the lives of young people, which often appear shocking. There is a lot of intimacy and insight with subtle impulses as his photographs are rarely ever changed in post production. No glamour or posh, but the honest side of life captured in a documentary about things that are not documented because they happen in an instant, because they break a taboo. These are honest, meaningful images. And that’s what matters, right?
