Franziska Czurratis on Tour: Ecco Sneakers – Launch Event 2014 atMellowpark
A few days ago, my management asked me whether I liked to visit a presentation of different cast. “Ecco” was supposed to launch their new shoe collection #CS14. I hesitated at first, because I got to know that the outdoor event was supposed to take place in a skater park. 12°C and rain did not sound convenient. Nevertheless, I decided to participate as I love sportive challenges.
I had only a few facts about this event and so, I wore some Plain leggings and a Guess sweater, as well as a jacket. Approximately 20 people were invited, including Manuel Cortez and Bonnie Strange. Many other VIP bloggers joined the event, as well. We met at Berlin-Friedrichshain, where the Haupstadt-raft landed. This one should bring us to the Mellowpark in Köpenick. After one and a half hours, we arrived at the skater park. I was definitively not used to it, because there were only those alternative people walking around. I felt younger than I am. Like earlier, when I was 16 and went to the village club in Dessau. A quite cool bar with live DJ were situated in the park.
There were also the “Ecco” shoes. There were black, grey and lilac sneakers there, which looked quite modern and comfortable. We were welcomed with prosecco and loads of sweets. Fortunately, I received a pair of lilac shoes, as I liked them the most. Not only did they look great, but they were also extremely comfortable. Now, the sportive part of the day began and everyone received skater equipment, inclusively skateboards. Then, we went to the skater parcour with our trainers. I tried my best. In the past, I would try every obstacle. It must have look like slow motion when I tried to go up the ramp little by little. Some of the male participants really overdid it and fell down like losers.
I was spared the humiliation to this. Here and there, we made hot dogs, just like earlier at the holiday camps. It was so fun, even though it was totally different than before. After that, we receivedBMX bikes, which I really preferred. One of the trainers led us to a quite difficult BMX parcour. I never expected cycling to be so exhausting. My fitness program for the next three days was already done. Then, we went to the ramp. I was the only woman that stayed. I think I never flew like this before. But it was thrilling. I just did not wanted to give up.
The new “Ecco” sneakers are perfect for such kinds of sports. I could stand steadily and I did not get any blisters. They passed the test! Modern design in combination with comfort and utility. These are real friends with benefits. I will definitively also wear them privately. When we went back in the raft, I was already dead. But this presentation was more fun than those of other events I had been invited to. It was extraordinarily sporty and exciting. I hope there will be more of these events. Next time, I won’t say “no”!
