Kowtow is a label with ethic backgrounds. The designers of the collection decided to find an answer to the endless and incautious consumption our society and so they created a collection which is fully dedicated to organic fair-trade fashion. Many of us think of boring and dull designs when it comes to fair-trade fashion, but Kowtow proves you wrong, which also makes the label so special.
Kowtow’s menswear is inspired by modernity and unifies urban street wear with hippie elements. This is how you’ll find for example Aladin-pants and wide garments. It’s the mixture that counts! The modern Kowtow style is created by ensembles of sweatshirts, sports jackets or bomber jackets. Very casual cuts are combined with timeless colors and trendy patterns. The strong contrast between black and white is the basis of a fair and individual whole.
Also modern women are offered a thrilling line, which is dominated by black and white. Nevertheless, the label also uses bold colors and prints in order to give the expressionist look a face. Women are offered feminine cuts and boyish silhouettes. The second ones play the main role in the selection. Casual pants and loose garments reflect nonchalance and toughness.
This is why it will be a great event when the label with its green thinking is getting featured at the New Zealand Fashion Week on August 30, 5 pm.
