As a New Zealand designer Jojo Ross can’t be missing at the local Fashion Week . Thanks to her unique and innovative, futurist looks, she becomes part of the underground fashion scene and she will present her creations on August 31. She creates artful, unearthful pieces with an unusual charm.
Surrealism must be the best word to describe the magic, spheric style. The strong relation between art and fashion can be felt in every pore of the designs. Experimental craftsmanship and new materials build up the basis for an extraordinary look. The collections lead us to future with almost robot-like designs.
Jojo Ross also focuses on individuality when it comes to colors. She decided to use black and white, but also metallic, shimmery shades like silver for her futurist cuts. The line “The Anomalies” is for example inspired by the String theory and is marked by a physical tension.
