Not only John Rocha or Marchesa presented a bright blue eye makeup on this year’s fall/winter collections, but also designers like Kenzo. The models wore a blue Cat Eyeliner on their eyelids, which was the focus of their whole faces. The makeup artists didn’t even use mascara on the models, to draw all the attention to the bright eyeliner.

For this look you will either need a blue eyeliner or a mixing fluid (e.g. by MAC) you can mix your eyeshadow with.

Here I first used a primer all over my eyelid (‘Soft Ocre’ by MAC). Then I applied a bright blue eyeshadow (‘Neptune’ by Makeup Geek) with an eyeliner brush in the shape of a cat eyeliner.

When using eyeshadows that are highly pigmented, apply your eye makeup before you do your foundation to prevent any fallout. Whipe away the excess with a makeup remover and then move on with your foundation. That way you will get perfect looking skin.
