The sculpture design is mostly represented by ornaments encasing the female body like cages. The body is often braced this way, and the extraordinary outfit receives its Amazone-like, combative character. Sometimes, the embellishments or details look so heavy that the body seems to be engulfed. Iris van Herpen, probably one of the most well-known couture designers, uses this style in her different lines.
