Ida Sjöstedt combines sophisticated, romantic elements with elegance and embellishes her designs with oriental components on the one hand and with feminine, playful or glamorous adornments on the other hand. After finishing her studies at the London University Westminster successfully, she brought her eponymous label to life in the following year. Thanks to her individual hallmarks, which she succeeds in underlining with new surprises each year again, the Swedish fashion creator can indeed be considered part of the crème de la crème of the Scandinavian fashion scene. However, Sjöstedt of course enjoys international fame as well. Two times a year, the designer presents her creations at the Fashion Week in Stockholm – her next show awaits you on August 26th at 14:00.

Her summer collection 2014 seems to drip with the expressive power of Ida’s individual style marked by romantic elements. Lace and embroideries adorning flowing robes paired with tulle and quillings in glamorous crème colors represent the highlights of the summer. Ida Sjöstedt however wasn’t Ida Sjöstedt if she didn’t make use of the beauty of voluminous fur which is capable of creating fulminant contrasts. The wearer is additionally put in a romantic limelight in dark colors as well. These however tell the story of a seductive femme fatale dressed mysterious nuances.

In the coming winter season 2014/2015 again a romantic line will capture you which particularly strikes the eye due to quillings and floral motifs. Combined with delicate lace, an elegant and strikingly feminine cut will guarantee breathtaking performances. Muted earthy colors and classical black paired with bright red complete the image of an irresistible woman.
