An elegant matte and shiny nail look!
Today I want to show you a simple and elegant look that is easy to recreate. All the products I used in this tutorial are by Kiko.
You´ll need
1x base coat
1x black nailpolish
1x top coat
1x matte top coat.
1. First you need to put on a base coat to protect your nails from any discoloration.
2. Then apply your black nail polish, if neccessary, cover your nails with more than just one coat.
3. To get to the fun part, take your matte top coat and apply it diagonally on one half of your nails. If you are not good at creating a sharp line with your nail polish, there’s a simple trick for you: Let your black nail polish dry completely and then use a piece of tape to create your design. Put it diagonally on your nails and apply the matte top coats on the open spaces.
4. After you put on the matte top coat to all of your nails, take your normal top coat and apply it on the spaces that are supposed to be shiny – and you’re done!
