Tom Cruise is awaiting us with a new sci-fi spectacle. What would you do if you found yourself in the midst of an alien invasion? An invasion which can’t be confronted by the humans; an invasion which seems to eliminate humanity.
You are in the thick of it and have to fight in the last battle, with your remaining hope, but even this seems to fail. Nevertheless, when you die, you wake up again in the same morning over and over again.
This happens to the protagonist of “The Edge of Tomorrow”. Instead of becoming insane, like I would do, Tom Cruise gains new hope. Every death he goes through and every new beginning leada him further and further to his aim. He also knows more and more and can prepare himself better for this life-changing moment. Is there probably still hope for the humans?
“The Edge of Tomorrow” is going to be released in Germany on May 29.
