For today’s HOT or NOT – Thursday I have brought to you one of the most hyped primers on the market right now. Benefit’s POREfessional has been around for quite some time now but it is still on everyone’s lips.

The POREfessional comes in a long, sleek looking tube. The typical design by Benefit is, as usual, very playful and unique. I love the combination of pastel mint and light beige.

The tube itself holds 22gr. and retails for 32€. With minimal pressure, an appropriate amount of the product can be squeezed out. The smell is really faint, which is, in my opinion, a plus. The primer is used for applying it under the foundation (as with all primers) and has the function of diminishing the pores, mattifying the skin and making the makeup last longer. You can even use the primer by itself on days where you don’t feel like putting makeup on. The difference is incredible and definitely noticeable.
The fact that the primer is oil-free is amazing because I have to battle an oily T-Zone on a daily basis.

Der POREfessional promises an even out skin with minimal pores and boy, oh boy, do they keep their promise. I love the mattifying finish it gives. The only downside is that the product does indeed contain a whole lot of different types of silicons, which is why I wouldn’t use this daily. But from time to time a gal needs a perfect skin, am I right?

I have to admit that I was a little bit sceptical, as with all overhyped products. But I am really pleased with my purchase. The mattifying finish is an absolute winner. The primer is also suitable for oily skin. It is definitely worth the money because you get a hell lot of product for it. It’s a HOT for me, how about you guys?
