AVAÂ , the label by Valeria Aksionava, is known as being very rich in contrast. First and foremost, she likes to contrast different colors. In her new collection for spring and summer 2014, Valeria focuses on fiery red. An abstract pattern on a white background appears at first until it breaks out and dominates the dresses entirely.
The fiery red is compared with a very sober grey, becoming a very vivid contrast to this rather timid color shade. This is supposed to represent two different sides of a woman. On the one hand, she is full of joie de vivre, passion and sensuality. On the other hand, she stays focused on her goals.
The designs themselves follow a very feminine silhouette. This collection shows many skirts, especially dresses, which swing dynamically. Also the designs of the tops is quite casual and yet body-fitting enough to let people recognize the wearer‘s silhouette, but they still look very nonchalant so that the wearer can move easily.
