The Berlin-based label Treat Collection launched a nail polish collection including 54 shades (15 ml). The special thing about them is that they don’t contain the dangerous ingredients which might affect pregnant women and children. Their motto, “5 free” refers to five toxic substances that are often used for cosmetic articles. Nevertheless, they don’t go without color intensity or shine.
The five substances are: dibutyl-phthalat (DBP), formaldehyde, camphor, toluol and formaldehyde resin. Formaldehyde rein is for example used for the production of chipboard pallets; toluol is used as a solvent and is also included in gasoline; and formaldehyde is supposed to cause cancer. This is whyTreat Collection uses environment-friendly ingredients. Those who like to let their nails shine without having a bad conscience, should try out their nail polishes.
