Das Label Crooks & Castles entstand in den 80er und 90er Jahren in Los Angeles. Die Designs waren schon immer inspiriert von Bösewichten und Bad Boys, egal ob es die fiktiven aus Filmen oder die wirklichen Gangster von den Straßen sind. Crooks & Castles steht für den Lifestyle der Gangs, immer auf der Suche nach Macht und Reichtum. Der Stil erinnert an Hip Hop mit einem kleinen Hauch von Hipster-Elementen!
Die Sommerkollektion 2014 beinhaltet Looks im Tattoo-Stil! Gangs, Gangster und böse Jungs – sie alle sind gezeichnet vom Leben. Dazu gehören die vielen Tattoos, welche ihre Haut zieren. Modisch passt die Kollektion zu dem Look der Straße. Ob schwarzes Dreieck oder ein Bild der betenden Maria mit schwarzem Balken über den Augen, die oldschool Tattoo-Motive sind in verschiedenen Stilen gehalten. Der schwarze Hoodie geht immer, genauso wie der grüne Parka. Besonders gut gefällt mir das T-Shirt mit der Aussage „Crookland“ – „Gaunerland“, über der ein Bild von einem maskierten Kopf und der Aufschrift „Threats“, also „Bedrohung“ steht. Das ist Mode für wirkliche Bad Boys, die das Leben auf ihrer Straße lieben -von der Straße und für die Straße!

The label Crooks & Castles emerged in the 80ies and 90ies in Los Angeles. The designs have always been inspired by villains and bad boys, no matter whether they come from fictional novels and movies or whether they did exist in reality. Crooks & Castles stands for the lifestyle of gangs, always looking for power and richness. The style reminds you of the hip hop scene combined with hipster elements.
The summer collection 2014 includes looks in the tattoo style. Gangs, gangsters and bad boys – life left their traces on all of them, which is symbolized by tattoos on their skin. The collection definitely is made for the street. Be it a black triangle or the picture of a praying Mary with censored eyes – the old-school tattoo motifs are marked by various styles. In this way, you can find an exemplar which will match your style and maybe your tattoo as well.
The black hoodie is always a nice choice as well as the green parka. I personally liked the t-shirt with the caption “Crookland” on it. Above a picture with a masked head, the caption “Threats” has been printed. This is fashion for real bad boys, who love their life on the streets. This is fashion made on the streets for the streets.
