Since the end of 2013, Björn Hillesheim carries on the founder’s business as the successor of Ludwig Hentschel who founded Germany’s first manufacture producing Titan-Trolleys. Björn Hillesheim plans consistent further development of trademark appearance and an improved product portfolio.

The producer of the prize-winning premium-golftrolleys TiCad, based in the Hessian Altenstadt, is planning changes in its structure to celebrate its 25th anniversary of TiCad. The founder Ludwig Hentschel elected Björn Hillesheim as his successor after retiring at the end of 2013. The course the continuation of this success story is being set now. Ludwig Hentschel created a brand new innovation by building the first design caddy out of titanium. In addition, a completely new category of products was born. True to its guiding principle „a perfect trolley“, Hillesheim aims to consequently rework the trademark appearance of TiCad. Furthermore, the product and service portfolio is to be gradually extended. Management director and owner Björn Hillesheim:  “Our trolleys made of titanium and carbon have gained an excellent reputation, because we know that golfers value individuality, demanding designs with the highest quality. We want to reinforce this image and impress golfers and our trading partners with our German trolley artwork.“

With this change of shareholders that proceeded at the end of 2013, this company, which produces handmade and precise manual trolleys and e-caddies thanks to nearly 50 employees, gets also renamed. The TiTec Golf GmbH became the TiCad GmbH & Co. KG., because the company is named after its best product now. This shall strenghten the brand name TiCad® and make it even more known. All offered products are used by professionals, amateurs and numerous prominent golfers too, thus they are offered all over the world.
