Das Label Ter et Bantine wurde 1992 von der Designerin Manuela Arcari ins Leben gerufen. Als Mutter von zwei Kindern sollte das Label Ter et Bantine immer schon sehr tragbar und unkompliziert sein, sodass viele Kombinationsmöglichkeiten in den Looks gegeben sind.
Die Frühjahrs- und Sommerkollektion 2014 ist sehr minimalistisch in den Schnitten und lässt eine sehr klare Linie erkennen. Es überwiegen Zweiteiler-Kombinationen aus Hosen und Oberteilen, welche für die tragbare Intention des Labels sprechen. Bei den Kleidern achtet die Designerin ebenfalls auf Minimalismus, der fast schon als puristisch bezeichnet werden kann. Besonders gut gefällt mir der leichte asiatische Einschlag in den Designs, der sich hervorragend mit dem Minimalismus und dem komfortablen Aspekt der Looks kombinieren lässt.
Die Hosen- und Blazer-Kombinationen erinnern an fernöstliche Kimonos und lassen die Looks für sich in ihrer Ganzheit wirken, ohne durch Muster oder Ähnliches abzulenken. Klassische Farben wie zum Beispiel Schwarz und Weiß werden in den Designs neben gefragten Farben, wie Orange und des Weiteren Neongrün- und blau eingesetzt. Trotz der Einfachheit der Schnitte haben die Designs viele kleine Details, die so noch besser zur Geltung kommen. Mir gefällt insbesondere das schwarze Kleid mit dem tiefen symmetrischen Ausschnitt sehr gut. Dadurch, dass das Kleid in schlichtem Schwarz gehalten ist und nur den Ausschnitt als besonderes Detail hat, wirkt es äußerst tragbar und nicht zu sexy!

The label Ter et Bantine was brought to life in 1992 by Manuela Arcari. As a mother of two children, she wanted her label Ter et Bantine to be wearable and uncomplicated, so that there would be numerous possibilities to combine the pieces into many different looks.
The Spring and Summer Collection 2014 is kept very minimalistic in terms of the cuts, making it easy to see a clear line. The two-piece combinations of pants and tops are making up the majority which follows the wearable intention of this label. Concerning the dresses, the designer also puts much value into a minimalistic style here which almost seems purist. I particularly adore the slightly Asian weft in the designs which adjusts brilliantly to the minimalism and the comfortable aspect of the looks.
The pants- and blazer combinations are reminiscent of the far-east kimonos; the looks have an effect as a whole without the patterns or anything similar being a distraction. Classic colors such as black and white are utilized besides the more modern colors, like orange as well as neon green and blue. Despite the simplicity of the cuts, the designs show many little details which are much better accentuated this way. I personally prefer the black dress with the deep, symmetrical cut-out. Since this dress is kept in a modest black with only that one cut-out as special detail, it’s actually great to wear without appearing too sexy!
