Fiona Windisch bringt uns eine modische Brise aus Mallorca. Zwischen Olivenbäumen, Seeluft und Feldern ist Jungdesignerin Fiona Windisch geboren und aufgewachsen. Sie verbrachte ihre gesamte Kindheit damit, Traditionen und das alltägliche Leben der Inselbewohner zu beobachten und aufzusaugen. Diese Erinnerungen haben ihre Karriereentscheidungen geprägt. SON NOGUERA ist eine Hommage für die Inselbewohner.
Fionas Handtaschen stehen deutlich im Fokus. SON NOGUERA bietet eine frische Interpretation von traditionellen Bräuchen und Sitten der Mallorquiner an. Mit jeder Tasche macht sie ein Stück Kultur unsterblich.
Die „Cala Mondrago“– Reihe ist der Inbegriff von Mallorca. Wenn ich die „Cala Mondrago“-Tasche in Blau sehe, denke ich an das kristallblaue Wasser an den Küsten der Baleareninseln. Ich denke an Wellen und die ebenso blauen Augen eines süßen Surfers. Wenn ich die „Cala Mondrago“-Tasche in Gelb sehe, wird mir direkt warm ums Herz. Sie schreit nur förmlich nach Sonne, Sand und Meer. Die gleiche Tasche in Grün und Beige ist für mich die Inkarnation der Olivenbäume und Palmen, die die Inselbewohner aufsuchen, um Schutz vor der Sonne zu bekommen. Alle Taschen der Reihe sind in den Maßen 50 x 13 x 37cm angefertigt und haben somit die perfekte Größe – nicht zu klein aber auch nicht zu groß. Die Träger sind aus Echtleder gefertigt und werden mit den Jahren immer weicher.

Fiona Windisch brings us a fresh breeze of fashion from Mallorca. She grew up between olive trees and fields, softly stroked by sea breezes. Fiona spent her whole childhood watching and learning about traditions and the way of life of the islanders. Those memories are the driving force of her fashion line today. SON NOGUERA is a tribute to the people from her island.

Her first line, the „Cala Mondrago“ line, is the epitome of Mallorca. Whenever I look at the Cala Mondrago bag in blue, I think of crystal clear water and the coasts of the Balearics. I think of blue waves and the blue eyes of a cute surfer boy. Whenever I see the Yellow Cala Modrago Bag I feel warmth creeping up my neck. It screams sun and sand dunes for me. The same bag in green and beige looks like the olive trees which offer shelter for islanders who are seeking a sound minute of blissful shadows. They all have the measurements 50 x 13 x 37, thus having the perfect size, not too small and not too big. The handles are made of real leather and get softer the more you use it.
