Avvikk ist ein sehr junges Unternehmen, das seine erste Kollektion im Sommer 2013 vorstellte. Die Firma hat ihren Sitz in Oslo und stellt sowohl Männer- als auch Frauenschuhe her. Das Unternehmen entstand aus der Faszination zu Kontrasten und komplexem Design heraus. Schuhe werden hier produziert, die sowohl maskulin, feminin und funktional sein können.
Eindrücke aus dem Alltag, Kultur und Kunst haben den Designer inspiriert und dazu gebracht, klassische Schuhe herzustellen, die einfach zu tragen und zu kombinieren sind. Klare Strukturen werden mit einem gewagten Einsatz von Farbe und Mustern aufgepeppt. Zu diesen Mustern gehören beispielsweise ein Leopardenprint, ein Zebraprint oder jedes andere Tier, was ihr euch vorstellen könnt. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist das Krokodil – zwar nicht im konventionellen Sinne, aber auf den Männerschuhen sieht es unschlagbar aus. Graues Krokodilleder wird hier mit weißem Leder kombiniert und ist der absolute Star der Show.

Avvikk is a very young company which just had their debut by launching their premiere collection in summer 2013. The label is based in Oslo and creates footwear for both men and women. The company is driven by its fascination towards complex design and contrasts. The result: shoes which have features of masculinity, femininity and functionality.
Impressions taken out of everyday life, art and culture influenced the designer who channels his thoughts into his collections. Clear cuts are interrupted by bold colors and prints such as leopard or zebra prints. But my personal star of the show is the crocodile, not in the conventional sense, but I really adore the crocodile leather on one of the best-sellers. The grey leather is paired with a white leathered pair of shoes and are, in my opinion, the stars of the show.
