Es geht ziemlich blumig und lebhaft zu in der Frühjahrs- und Sommerkollektion 2014 von MARI AXEL! Das Modelabel hat diesmal viel Farbe und Freude in seine Kreationen eingehaucht. Das erweckt ein schönes Gefühl und man sehnt sich nur noch nach der warmen Jahreszeit. Leider kannte ich das Label MARI AXEL vorher gar nicht, aber nachdem ich recherchiert habe und auch anfing, Artikel über deren Kollektionen zu schreiben, habe ich mich so richtig darin verliebt! Es ist definitiv mein Style – feminin, romantisch und dennoch cool!
Diese Kollektion sticht mit ihren Blumenprints hervor, die ganze Röcke, Shirts, Blusen, Mäntel und Kleider zieren. Diese Prints werden dann mit kräftigen korallfarbenen Shorts oder knielangen Röcken kombiniert. Sie wurden auch für einen transparenten, leicht-luftigen Umhang benutzt, der in ein elegantes, türkises Kleid integriert ist. Auch Colorblocking-Kombinationen auf geometrischen Mustern kann man auf lässigen, lockeren T-Shirt-Kleidern oder Bleistiftröcken finden.
Ein anderes Merkmal ist der Schnitt der Kleider. Er ist sehr strukturiert und weit gehalten. Es gibt viele ausgestellte Stücke und gerade Formen, die uns an einen Mix mit maskulinen Elementen erinnern. Dies kann beispielsweise an lässigen Anzugkombis und Blusen entdeckt werden, die übrigens auch mit ihrem tollen Vokuhilaschnitt hervorragen. Trotzdem, dank der lebhaften Farben und Prints, bleibt die Kollektion sehr feminin und „sanft”.

It’s getting bloomy and vivid with MARI AXEL’s spring and summer collection 2014! The fashion label put a lot of colors and joy into their creations. This evokes a good feeling and lets us look forward to the warm season. Unfortunately, I didn’t know MARI AXEL before, but after doing some research about this label and after writing about their collections, I really fell in love with this fashion brand, which is definitely my style – feminine, romantic, yet cool!
This collection strikes out with its flower prints that cover whole skirts, shirts, blouses, coats and dresses. These prints are then combined with bold coral-colored shorts or knee-length skirts. They were also used for a transparent, light cape that is integrated into an elegant turquoise dress. Also, colorblocking combinations on geometrical patterns can be found on casual and slack shirt dresses or pencil skirts.
Another feature is the cut of the garments. It’s kept very structured and wide. There are many flared pieces and straight shapes, reminding us of a mix with masculine accents. This, for example, can be seen on the casual suit combinations and blouses that, by the way, also stand out with their high-low cut. Still, thanks to the vivid colors and prints, the collection stays very feminine and soft.
