Patrick Li ist ein chinesischer Designer mit Basis in London. Von dort aus präsentiert er für den Herbst und Winter 2013 futuristisch, schicke Designs für die Damen dieser Welt. Dabei spielt er gerne mit dem Gegensatz von fließend und starr. Die Kollektion spielt sich in typisch winterlichen, düsteren Farben ab. Schwarz und dunkles Braun dominieren die Farbpalette und werden durch glänzende Highlights mit Silber, Weiß und Bronze akzentuiert. Diese durchbrechen meist als spitze Dreiecke die düsteren Designs.
Patrick Li arbeitet in seiner Herbst- und Winterkollektion hauptsächlich mit Kleidern, diese weisen oft Asymmetrien auf. Der Saum fällt schräg ab oder das Oberteil ist unterschiedlich konstruiert. Kaum ein Ärmel oder Träger ist wie der andere, die Kragen sind schräg und auch der Gurt um die Taille besteht nur zur Hälfte.
Trotz dem Überwiegen von kurzen Kleidern hat das Label doch auch Hosen im Sortiment. Natürlich weisen auch diese die Asymmetrie auf, welche die ganze Kollektion ausmacht. Es Läuft bei einer davon ein Stoffband schräg über den Bund. Die Hose wirkt also, als wäre sie gewickelt worden. Patrick Li präsentiert mit seiner Herbst- und Winterkollektion 2013 exquisite Designs, die mit ihren durchdachten Details so manche Fragen aufwerfen und neugierig machen. Der Designer kippt die Modewelt um einige Grad und gibt damit eine neue Richtung vor.

Patrick Li is a Chinese designer headquartered in London. From England’s ultimate fashion metropolis he presents a very futuristic fall and winter collection 2013 to the entire fashion world. These chic designs are made for real ladies. To create his very exciting creations, he made use of the contrast between rigid and stiff structures and flowing ones. The collection is marked by wintery and sinister colors. Black and a dark brown dominate the color palette and are refined with shiny highlights in silver, white and bronze. These elements loosen up the dark designs in the shape of triangles.
Patrick Li mainly creates dresses , which excitingly are marked by asymmetry, in his fall and winter collection. The seam is diagonally cut for instance, while tops are differently constructed. There’s barely a sleeve or a strap which is identical to their counterparts within one piece of clothing. The collars are diagonally designed. And even the belt around the waist seems to be lacking its other half.
Despite the fact that the collection mainly includes short dresses, the brand also has pants in its assortment. Of course, they are marked by asymmetric structures as well, which defines the entire collection in general. One pair of pants is equipped with a cord made of fabric which is running diagonally across the waistband. In the end, the pants look as if they have been draped around the mannequin. Patrick Li presents exquisite designs in his winter collection 2014, which definitely are anything but boring. They are well thought-out and sophisticated, truly making you curious. The designer slightly tilts the entire fashion world and definitely sets a milestone in minimalistic fashion design.
