Clover Canyon haben wir ja bereits mit zwei Kollektionen kennengelernt – Fashion und Swimwear SS 2014. Dabei waren die Kollektionen vom Stil her gar nicht so verschieden. Doch fällt die Folgende da doch ziemlich aus dem Rahmen. Es ist die Resort Swim Collection 2014 und sie ist eigentlich komplett anders, bis auf den Fakt, dass sie eben den typischen Clover Canyon Stil in sich trägt. Das heißt, viele Farben, viel Gemustertes und die generelle Einstellung: der Mix macht’s!
Während sie in den vorherigen Kollektionen jedoch im Grunde sehr geometrisch waren, sind die Muster hier etwas verspielter, lieblicher und auch romantischer. Die Kombination aus Rot, Gelb und Blau trägt wohl auch zu dieser Grundstimmung bei, die vielleicht an die Provence oder die Toskana erinnert, wo die roten Rosen einer verschnörkelten Fassade hochwachsen und in der Abendsonne erstrahlen.
Hier schmücken sie aber die Vorderseite eines Badeanzuges. Er ist hoch geschlossen und hat einen kleinen Schlitz in der Mitte – es scheint ein verdeckter Reißverschluss zu sein. So einer befindet sich auch am Oberteil eines Bikinis, der genauso hochgeschlossen ist und auch ziemlich viel bedeckt. Hier sind ebenfalls rote Rosen zu finden. Doch der Hintergrund ist hier geometrischer gestaltet. Blau-weißes Karo und gerade Linien füllen diesen und erzeugen wieder den typischen Gegensatz von verspielt-floral und gerade-geometrisch.
Clover Canyon zeigt also auch in der Resort Kollektion 2014 wieder die gewohnt durchgemischte Handschrift, die bereits in den anderen herauslesbar war.

You already got to know the brand Clover Canyon thanks to the ready-to-wear and swimwear collection for spring and summer 2014 which I introduced to you. The two collections weren’t that different considering their style. However, the following one seems to march to a different number. I’m talking about the resort swimwear collection 2014 which is completely different compared to the collections mentioned above. Nonetheless the designs carry the typical Clover Canyon style. This means: many colors, patterns and the tendency to mix everything.
While the two previous collections were inspired by geometric shapes, the patterns are more playful, lovely and romantic this time. The combination of red, yellow and blue probably contributes to this impression which maybe reminds you of the Provence or Tuscany where red roses grow up the faces of houses, shone on by the setting sun.
Here, the red roses adorn the front of a swimsuit which is high-necked and characterized by a decorative slit in the middle. It seems to be a covered zip. The same embellishment can be found on the top of a bikini which is high-necked as well and covers a lot of skin. Roses can be found here as well. But the background is more geometrically designed. Blue and white checks and straight lines fill the background and create a very exciting contrast to the playfully floral elements.
Clover Canon once again is presenting its mixed designs in the resort collection 2014, which is absolutely typical of this label.
