„Romance Was Born“ sollte sich eigentlich umtaufen in „Craziness Was Born“. Bereits bei der „Kawaii Hawaii“-Kollektion wurde offensichtlich, dass das Label nicht ganz seinem Namen entspricht. Die Designs sind verrückt, ausgeflippt und extrovertiert, alles andere als süß und romantisch. Genauso zeigen sich auch die Designs der Kollektion „Magic Mushrooms“ – wie könnten sie auch anders.
Die Kollektion läuft über vor Farben. Sie sind knallig und bunt durchmischt, in einem Muster oder frei fließend auf den Kleidungsstücken und auch den Perücken der Models verteilt. Romance Was Born lässt wirklich keinen Zentimeter des Regenbogens aus und würfelt ihn ganz einfach durcheinander. Zusammen mit den Designs laden diese in die schrullige Welt des Hutmachers aus „Alice im Wunderland“ ein.
Die S-Form der Ärmel, bei der Volumen in Ober- und Unterarm gegeben wurde, unterstreicht den Eindruck, einen bunten Clown vor sich zu haben. Die Bluse führt nämlich mit dem leicht transparenten Stoff in die unendliche Welt der Farben, wo man fast verloren gehen würde, wäre da nicht der schwarze, bunt bestickte Rock, an dem man sich festhalten kann.
Bei der Magic Mushrooms Kollektion von Romance Was Born kann man nicht genau sagen wohin man entführt wird, nur, dass es dort bunt ist und schön.

„Romance Was Born“ should actually be renamed to „Craziness Was Born“. In the “Kawaii Hawaii” Collection it was already obvious that the label doesn’t quite fit its name. The designs are crazy, flashy and extroverted – Call them whatever you want, however they are in no way cute or romantic. That’s how the designs are presented in their “Magic Mushrooms” Collection – Were you expecting anything else?
The collection is overflowing with colors. They are flashy, colorful and completely mixed in a pattern or freely floating on the garments – they are even covering the wigs the models are wearing. Romance Was Born really doesn’t leave a single inch of the rainbow out and jumbles it. Along with the designs, these invite you to the crazy hat maker’s world from “Alice in Wonderful”.
The sleeve are shaped like an S due to the volume added on the upper and the lower arm. This construction underlines the impression of having a colored clown in front of you. In particular, the blouse leads to the endless world of colors with its slightly transparent cloth – you could almost go missing there, if not for the black skirt with colored embroideries which you can cling onto.
You can’t really say where the Magic Mushrooms Collection is trying to take you to, but one thing is for sure: It’s colorful and beautiful there!
