Es war einmal eine Schuh- und Accessoires-Designerin, die das Herz einer Readthetrieb.com-Redakteurin stahl. Ihr Name war Charlotte Olympia. Nun ja, zum Glück gibt es sie immer noch und zum Glück präsentiert sie uns jede Saison eine neue Kollektion voller einzigartiger Kreationen.
“Once upon a time” (Englisch: Es war einmal) ist übrigens auch der Name ihre Herbstkollektion 2013. Wie man gut am Namen erkennen kann, ist sie von den zahlreichen Märchen, die wir alle kennen und den traumhaften Kinder-Bettgeschichten inspiriert.
Alle Details wurden hier eingefangen und in außergewöhnliche Schuhpaare und Accessoires umgewandelt. Wenn ich mehr Geld in der Tasche hätte, würde ich definitiv eines oder zwei oder drei oder mehr Stücke dieser wunderschönen Kollektion kaufen. Olympia hat Clutches aus Leder entworfen, die mit Märchenprints geschmückt sind. Auch deren Formen gleichen Märchenbüchern.
Pumps und High Heel-Sandaletten sind mit wunderschönen Blumen- oder Baum-Details bestickt. Rotkäppchen und Organza-Blümchen kommen hinzu. Das mit ausgefallendste Paar dürfte wohl das “Damsel in Distress” sein. Es besitzt einen hölzernen Turmabsatz mit Plateau, kombiniert mit Häkeleien, die mittels Swarovski-Kristallen zum Funkeln gebracht werden.

Once upon a time, there was a shoes and accessories designer who has stolen a readthetrieb.com editor’s heart. Her name was Charlotte Olympia. Well, fortunately, she’s still there and presents us every season a new collection full of exceptional creations.
“Once upon a time” is by the way also the name of her fall collection 2013. As you can tell, it is inspired by the numerous fairytales, all of us know and the dreamy bedtime stories for children.
Every details were captured here and transformed into outstanding footwear and accessories. If I had more money, I’d definitively buy one or two or three or more pieces of this gorgeous collection. Olympia made clutches of leather with fairytale prints on them. Also their shapes resemble fairytale books.
Pumps and high heel sandals are embroidered with beautiful and hypnotising flower or tree details. Red Riding Hood designs and organza flowers also embellish the shoes. The most outstanding pair could be the “Damsel in Distress” ankle boot. It includes a wooden tower heel and platform combined with woven crochet upper that shines with little Swarovski crystals.
