Die zwei Berliner Brüder Michael und Florian Fischer sind die sympathischen Designer, die hinter dem Label Apollo Krieg stecken.
Nicht selten tun sich, wie auch bei Apollo Krieg, kreative Geschwister zusammen, um ihre Vision von Mode zu verwirklichen. Das Street-Wear-Label Apollo Krieg avancierte in den letzten Jahren zu einem der beliebtesten in Berlin. Man findet die Designs in Berlin im Le Gang und im Flagshipstore. Außerdem hat es das Modehaus bereits über die Grenzen Berlins und Deutschlands geschafft.
Was Apollo Krieg auszeichnet, sind ihre graphischen Prints und die beliebten All-Over-Aufdrucke. Bei den Mustern werden Dreiecke, Kreise und andere geometrische Elemente mit fließenden Mustern ergänzt. Ganz besonders gefällt mir der All-Over-Print bei dem Hoodie und der passenden Hosen dazu. Ich finde, das wertet den Street-Wear-Look ungemein auf, wenn nicht alles grau in grau ist.
Nach dem Motto „Buy less but buy better“ konzentrieren sich Michael und Florian auch bei der Herstellung ihrer Designs auf beste Baumwollstoffe, um so langfristig gute Designs zu kreieren. Ich finde es sehr umsichtig, auch bei der Produktion auf gute Materialien zu achten. Denn wie oft hat man ein Lieblingsstück, welches nach kurzer Zeit nicht mehr gebrauchbar ist?
Auch bei den Farben beweisen die Jungs von Apollo Krieg modisches Gespür. Denn sie beschränken sich nicht auf die typischen Farben wie Schwarz, Blau und Grau, sondern nehmen einen Lachston mit in ihre Designs auf. Der modische Mann von morgen muss nicht immer in den typisch männlichen Farben gekleidet sein. Ich darf verraten, dass auch mein Freund, der sonst kein Fan von lachsfarbenen Kreationen ist, von der Kollektion von Apollo Krieg begeistert war.
Bei ihrer Runway-Show am 29.11.13 auf der Messe der Plattform Live Networking for Fashion & Art gelang es den Designerbrüdern ebenfalls, durch ihre Show reichlich Aufmerksamkeit auf ihre Kollektion zu ziehen. Durch ihre arabisch inspirierte Performance, gepaart mit der urbanen und legeren Mode, gelang ihnen eine einmalige Stimmung.

The two brothers Michael and Florian Fischer are the extremely likable designers who are running the label Apollo Krieg.
Two siblings founding their own label to implement their vision of fashion isn’t something you’d call rare in the fashion world. Apollo Krieg indeed is an excellent example of this phenomenon. The street wear brand could celebrate many successes, becoming one of Berlin’s most popular labels. You can find the designs in “Le Gang” or in the flagship store of the brand in Berlin. Furthermore, Apollo Krieg has long conquered the international market.
What definitely marks and defines the label are the graphic prints and the popular all-over prints. The patterns are composed of triangles, circles and other geometric elements, which are completed with more curvy and organic shapes. I particularly like the hoodie embellished with the all-over print and worn with matching pants. I really think that casual street wear doesn’t necessarily have to be grey, white and black.
Following the motto “Buy less but buy better”, Michael and Florian concentrate on making use of the finest cotton for their designs in order to create products which you can call yours your whole lifetime. Seriously, I can’t stand my favorite pieces becoming worn-out and unwearable after only a short time.
Looking at the color palette, the boys from Apollo Krieg prove that they are blessed with a sense of fashion. After all, they don’t only restrict their color spectrum to black, blue and grey, but also have the courage to make use of colors like salmon. The modern man really doesn’t need to be dressed in the typical masculine colors anymore. I was allowed to tell you that my boyfriend who definitely is not a fan of salmon did like the collections by Apollo Krieg.
Their runway show which took place November 11th in 2013 on the platform Live NetWorking for Fashion & Art succeeded in drawing a lot of attention. Thanks to the performance inspired by an Arabian flair and coupled with urban and casual fashion, a very unique atmosphere was created.
