Deby Debo schafft es irgendwie, Tragekomfort und Professionalität in ihren Looks zu vereinen und kreiert damit eine neue Alltags- und Geschäftskleidung, die wohl jeder gerne trägt. Die Farbpalette ist sehr reduziert. Bis auf ein paar blaue und rote Farbkleckse, die sich eingeschlichen haben, wird meist auf Schwarz, Weiß und Grau gesetzt.
Grau ist auch der erste Look, und zwar von Kopf bis Fuß. Er besteht aus Anzughose und Pullover. Während der Pullover sehr bequem scheint und eher in die Freizeit passt, ist die Hose doch eindeutig für die Arbeitswelt geschaffen. Die Kimonoärmel sind mit silbrigen Pailletten bestickt und werten so den Pullover auf. Schlussendlich muss man doch zugeben, dass es ein stimmiges Bild ergibt und der Look sowohl in Freizeit als auch Berufsleben eingesetzt werden kann.
Ähnlich kontrastreich zeigt sich auch das nächste Outfit, welches aber sehr viel lieblicher ist. Es besteht aus süßem Faltenrock und T-Shirt. Beides wurde aus bequemem Stoff gearbeitet und wieder in unterschiedlichen Grautönen vorgeführt. Mit den umgestülpten Ärmeln des oversize T-Shirts wirkt der Look sehr leger. Doch schaffen auch hier die bunten Stickereien um den Hals eine gewisse Spannung, die einen nicht entscheiden lässt, ob der Look nun edel oder doch leger wirkt.
Deby Debo balanciert mit den Designs auf einem Seil, das zwischen chic und ungezwungen gespannt ist und man weiß einfach nicht, wo sie runterfallen werden. Diese Spannung macht die Looks schließlich auch so interessant.

Deby Debo somehow manages to unite comfort and professionalism in their look, thus creating casual garments and business clothing that everyone most likely would love to wear. The range of colors is not too large. With the exception of a few blue and red dyes, the main colors are black, grey and white.
The first look for example is in fact grey – from head to toe. It consists of a pair of suit pants and a pullover. While the pullover has a very comfy effect and would rather be considered casual wear, the pants are clearly made for work. The kimono sleeves are graced with silver sequins and thus make the pullover more gallant. In the end you can admit that this makes a harmonized look and you could use this outfit for everyday occasions or for business casual.
Another outfit is similarly full of contrasts, but this one is a lot lovelier. The outfit is composed of a cute pleated skirt and a t-shirt. Both of the garments are made of really comfortable cloth and are also presented in different shades of grey. With the upended sleeves the oversize t-shirt has, the look really is made for dressing down. But here the colorful embroideries around the neck also create a certain tension, where you can’t really say whether the look is casual or gallant.
Deby Debo is balancing their designs like someone would balance on a rope, which is strapped between chic and casual – and you just don’t know where they’ll fall down. After all, this tension is what makes the looks so exciting.
