„Les Jardins Suspendus“, „Die hängenden Gärten“ heißt die neueste Kollektion des libanesischen Designers Rami Kadi. Darin zeigt er, was er sich alles an Pflanzen vorstellen könnte, die herumhängen oder schlägt vor, was zu einem gleichnamigen Ball angezogen werden könnte.
Wie der Titel bereits verrät, haben die Kreationen einen Bezug zu Blumen. Entweder ähneln sie selbst einer, sind mit solchen bedeckt oder haben ganz einfach ein Blumenmuster aufgedruckt. Die Designs an sich sind alle in Pastellfarben gehalten und wirken filigran. Die Schnitte sind aber von ready-to-wear bis Haute Couture in allen Facetten vorhanden und beeindrucken gleichermaßen.
Ein kurzes Kleid scheint aus kurzärmliger Bluse und Rock zu bestehen. Der Rockteil ist ausgefranst, ausgestellt und hellblau-weiß gestreift. Die Bluse hat ein Kreuz über Schultern und der Mitte entlang eingearbeitet, welches, bestehend aus durchsichtigem Stoff, die darunterliegende Haut zeigt. Das Design wirkt auf der einen Seite eher unschuldig, auf der anderen aber auch sehr verführerisch.
Eine andere Facette des Labels zeigt ein Ballkleid, das für einen Ball fast schon zu voluminös ist. Das Kleid ist rosa und mit einem Träger über die rechte Schulter befestigt. Bis zu der Taille verläuft das Kleid enganliegend. Von da an breiten sich Lagen an Tüll voluminös aus. Darüber legt sich eine Konstruktion, welche Blüten darauf verteilt hat. Am Rücken entlang sind Schleifen platziert. Alles in allem wirkt das Kleid selbst wie eine, auf dem Kopf stehende Blume.
Rami Kadi führt eine sehr filigrane Linie und zeigt durch die zierlichen Blüten viel Liebe zum Detail.

„Le Jardin Suspendus“, „The Hanging Gardens“ is the name of Lebanese designer’s Rami Kadi latest collection. In this collection, he shows what kind of plants he imagined, which are hanging down or he suggests what to hear to a ball of the same name.
As the title already says, his creations have a connection to flowers. They are either to a flower itself or they are covered with embroidered flowers, or they just have flowers printed onto them. The designs all feature pastel shade dyes and appear filigree. The cuts range from ready to wear to Haute Couture and are quite multifaceted and impressive.
A short dress seems to be a short sleeved blouse and a skirt. The skirt part is fringed, made out and has light blue and white stripes. The blouse has a cross over the shoulders and one that is sewed on along the middle, which is made of a transparent cloth and shows the skin below. On the one hand this design seems rather innocent, but on the other hand it is also pretty seductive.
Another facet this label has shows an evening gown, which is almost too voluminous for a ball. The dress is pink and has a strap applied to it over the right shoulder. Down to the waist the gown is tight. From this point on, layers of tulle voluminously spread. Over the tulle there is a construction with flowers spread on it. On the back there are bows. All in all the dress seems like a flower standing upside down. Rami Kadi has a very filigree line and with his many graceful flowers he shows a lot of passion for detail.
