Geschichte
Acne Studios ist ein Modehaus mit Firmenzentrale in Stockholm und einer vielseitigen Agenda; genauso vielseitig wie die Interessen von Gründer und Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s. Fotografie, Kunst, Architektur und zeitgenössische Kultur, all diese Faktoren haben Acne Studios in einen multidisziplinären Erschaffer von Magazinen, Mode, Möbel, Bücher und sogar Kunstausstellungen transformiert.
Die Kollektionen sind bestimmt durch Jonny Johansson’s charakteristischen „juxtaposing“ Design (auf Deutsch: nebeneinander stellend) und die Liebe zum Detail. Die Kollektionen umfassen sowohl Frauen – als auch Männermode, Schuhwerk, Accessoires und Denim.
Resort Collection 2014
Ein nasser Sandstrand; Wellen, die sich an Felsen schlagen; hohe Palmen, die sich bis in den azurblauen Himmel strecken – das ist das Bild, welches sich jeder vorstellen darf, wenn es um die neue Resort Collection von Jonny Johansson und Acne Studios geht. Doch der Designer dachte hier nicht an ein Paradies tief im indischen Ozean, nein. Er dachte hierbei an ein viel näheres Ziel: Sein Stockholm Garten. Als er mitten in den Arbeiten für besagten Garten war, kam ihm der Gedanke, dass die heutige Generation sich immer mehr für die Natur und ihre Umgebung interessiert. Grüne Smoothies, Nachhaltigkeit, biologisch angebaute Früchte und Gemüse sind trendiger denn je. Sei es die skandinavische Denkweise, Johansson und Acne Studios waren schon immer ganz vorne, wenn es um Änderungen des Lebensstils ging.
Das Gartenbauthema zeigt sich in übergroßen Baumwolljacken mit geräumigen Taschen in der Farbe von Blaubeeren oder weiß-pinken Bikerjacken. Die neue Kollektion ist länger, gelassener und schlanker.

History
Acne Studios is a Stockholm based fashion house with a multifaceted approach. Founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s interests include photography, art, architecture and contemporary culture and these factors contributed to the label we know and love today. Acne Studios is a creator of magazines, fashion, furniture, literature and exhibitions.
The collection is pretty much defined by Jonny Johansson’s characteristic juxtaposing design and details. The collections cover women’s as well as men’s wear, footwear, accessories and denim.
Resort Collection 2014
A damp beach, waves crashing against the rocks, high palm trees stretching into the blue sky – that’s pretty much what everybody expects from the new collection right? Well, Jonny Johansson didn’t exactly think of a paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean whilst creating the collection, he did however was inspired by his Stockholm Garden on which he’s been working on for quite a time now. Whilst at it he realized that we all are part of a humongous life shifting right now. Todays generation shows more and more interest in nature what with all the green markets, sustainability, organic foods.
The gardening theme appeared in oversized cotton jackets with big, slouchy pockets hued In the bright colors of blueberries and white/pink biker jackets. The new collection is longer, more relaxed and leaner than ever.
