Im Winter 2013/14 wird eine Reise in die begehrtesten Ecken Nordamerikas unternommen. Die Reise beginnt in Alaska, wo die Inspiration für eher kalte Farbtöne herrührt – schroffe Felsen. Gleichzeitig werden in der Kollektion auch eher warme Farben verwendet, die wohl von den unglaublichen Kulissen des Grand Canyon inspiriert wurden – Dunkelrot, Beige, Kamel. Oft werden Streifenmuster verwendet und auch ein ganz besonderes, welches an die Jahresringe eines Baumes erinnert.
Ganz woandershin führt uns die Sommerkollektion 2014. An die Westküste Afrikas nämlich. Dort wurde Inspiration für Wüstenfarben und exotische Muster gefunden. Auch Blau ist sehr präsent, was an einen strahlenden Himmel oder einen tiefen Ozean erinnert. Die Schnitte sind wie auch schon in der Winterkollektion locker und leicht, sodass nichts einengt oder zwickt. Durch das satte Rot, kombiniert mit dem trockenen Beige, fühlt man sich an eine Ausgrabungsstätte bei Sonnenuntergang in einer Wüste Afrikas versetzt. Die gepunkteten, gestreiften und wellenartigen Muster erinnern zusätzlich an die Körperbemalung eines wilden Stammes.
Missoni schickt die Männer ganz einfach mal auf Urlaub an exotische Orte und mit ihnen ihre ganze Umgebung. Mit Missoni wird Reisen zum Kinderspiel.

In winter 2013/13 a journey is taken to the most beautiful places in North America. The journey begins in Alaska, which inspired the cold color nuances of the fabrics. At the same time, warm colors are used in the collection as well, which truly remind us of the wonderful scenery of the Grand Canyon- dark red, beige, camel. Often, striped patterns are used apart from another wonderful pattern which looks similar to the year rings of a tree.
To completely different places does the summer collection for 2014 take us- to the west coast of Africa. The desert colors and the exotic patterns seem to have their origin in this exotic area. Blue is present as well, which reminds us of the bright sky and the deep ocean. The cuts are loose and light just like in the winter collection. Nothing is too tight, everything fits nicely. Thanks to the luscious red paired with dry beige you feel as if you are at an archaeological excavation underneath a red, orange sky illuminated by the rising sun in the dry desert of Africa. The dotted, striped and wavelike patterns additionally look like the body paint of African tribes.
