I Love Bows“ steht auf einem Herrenpullover großgeschrieben, wobei das „Love“ durch ein Herz ersetzt wird. Die Schleife kommt auch tatsächlich fast in jedem Look vor, denn es ist das Markenzeichen von Alexis Mabille.
In der Modewelt wird er Alexis M’habille genannt, was auf Französisch so viel heißt wie „sich anziehen“. Das trifft es wohl ziemlich gut. Denn mit seinen Entwürfen vereinfacht er es den Menschen, sich gut anzuziehen.
Seine ready-to-wear Kollektion unterteilt sich in Männer und Frauen. Bei den Männern ist nicht nur der bereits erwähnte Pullover, welcher in verschiedenen Farben erhältlich ist, der Renner, denn auch für die untere Hälfte des Mannes hat das Label ein paar Überraschungen parat. Die Hosen sind schwarz und haben ganz viele goldene Fliegen aufgedruckt, was von weitem ein auffallendes Karomuster ergibt. Eine weitere ist mit einem schwarzen Leopardenmuster bedruckt, welches stellenweise bunte Flecken aufweist, was schließlich zu einem eher unruhigen, gecheckten Anblick führt. Dieses Muster findet sich auch auf einem Sakko wieder. Zu diesem wird ein weißes Hemd mit auffallenden Kragenspitzen getragen – sie sind nämlich mit goldenen Steinen verziert.
Während der Look der Männer sehr modern mit einem Hauch von Vintage auftritt, erinnert die Linie der Frauen eher an wilde Cowgirls und Pin-Ups. Ein knielanges Kleid, welches wie eine Bluse geschlossen wird und an der Hüfte ausgestellt ist, wird mit einem breiten Gürtel mit runder Schnalle tailliert und hat eine Paspel dem Brustabnäher entlang eingenäht. Es wirkt typisch Texanisch. Natürlich wird dieser Eindruck durch die Cowboystiefel mit Zotteln, welche zu jedem Look getragen werden, noch verstärkt. Ein Tuch um den Kopf ist auch überall dabei. Es wird mit einer Schleife zugeknöpft, das Markenzeichen, ein Muss für Alexis Mabille’s Entwürfe.
Obwohl die ready-to-wear Linien für Frauen und Männer so unterschiedlich ausfallen, sind sie doch beide gleichermaßen eindrucksvoll. Alexis Mabille weiß ganz einfach wie „M’habille“.

“I Love Bows” does the caption read on a men’s sweater in big letters. The word “Love” was replaced by a heart. The bow is a leitmotiv which is probably present in every look of this collection. After all, it is the signature feature of the designer Alexis Mabille.
In the fashion world, he is called Alexis M’habille which is French and means something like “to get dressed”. This name suits him wonderfully. His designs are so wonderful that they can probably enable almost anyone to look good easily.
His ready-to-wear collection is divided into men and women. As for the men, the sweater I mentioned above is available in many different colors and undoubtedly it’s one of the bestsellers. However, Alexis also has a nice collection of pants in store. The trousers are black. But what really makes them extravagant is the pattern: Golden bows are printed all over the fabric, which in the end creates an eye-catching checked pattern. Another pant design is characterized by a black leopard pattern, which is embellished with colorful stains here and there. This pattern somehow results in an exciting look. The same pattern can be found on a sports coat, which is worn with a white shirt with very extraordinary collar angles – they are decorated with golden stones.
While the look for men is very modern and does present a touch of vintage, the line for women amazingly reminds us of cow girls and pin-up girls. A knee-length dress, which is buttoned like a blouse and voluminous around the hips, is embellished with a belt around the waist. This dress struck our eye first: the circular belt buckle, the colors. It really looked Texan. Of course, this impression is amplified by the cowboy boots with fringes. A scarf around the head can be seen here and there. A bow completes the look – the signature feature, a must-have for Alexis Mabille’s designs.
Although the ready-to-wear lines for women and men truly are full of contrasts and differences, they are both equally impressive. No wonder, Alexis Mabille bears his nickname “M’habille”.
