Wie auch schon bei der ready-to-wear Kollektion von Alexis Mabille, wird auch bei seiner Couture Linie kein einziges Mal auf die Masche verzichtet. Die Kreationen reichen von schlicht und elegant bis hin zu voluminös und übertrieben. Allesamt sind aber, wenn auch sehr verschieden, immer irgendwie besonders.
Ein Mädchen ist ganz rosa gekleidet. Die Hose reicht bis zur Taille und hat ein leichtes Muster. Die Bluse ist pfirsichfarben und wird unter einer kurzgeschnittenen Jacke getragen, welche mit Perlen und Pailletten höchst aufwändig bestickt wurde. Eine Schleife um den Bund der Hose, macht das Mädchen zu einem Geschenk und schließt den eher schlichten, doch wunderschönen Look ab.
Ein blaues Kleid hat die Schleife bereits in sich integriert. Sie beginnt zwischen den Brüsten als Mittelpunkt und führt voluminös über Schultern und Arme. Sie ist aus glänzendem Stoff und reicht am Rücken bis zu den Knien. Der Rest des Kleides ist den Körper entlang eng anliegend bis zu den Knien, wo es etwas an Volumen gewinnt. Dieser Teil ist aus einem helleren Blau mit leichtem Muster gemacht.
Ob nun schlicht oder doch sehr auffallend, die Designs von Alexis Mabille sind immer schön anzuschauen und auch tragbar – Hauptsache nur die Schleife ist mit dabei.

Just like the ready-to-wear collection by Alexis Mabille, the couture line is absolutely magnificent and again characterized by his signature attribute: the Bow. The creations range from plain or elegant to very voluminous and exaggerated. All designs however – despite being very different- very unique.
The female mannequin is completely dressed in rose. The pants are high-waisted and are embellished with a discreet pattern. The blouse is peach-colored and is worn underneath a cropped jacket, which is very lavishly embroidered with sequins and pearls. A ribbon around the trousers waistband is tied with a bow and turns the girl into a little gift – a gift for the fashion world – and rounds up the wonderful look.
A blue dress already has a bow integrated. The bow starts in the middle of the chest and leads over the shoulders and arms, made of a shiny fabric and even reaching the back and the knees. The rest of the dress is very tight-fitting from the torso to the knees where it gains in volume. The voluminous seem is also colored in a brighter blue with discreet patterns.
No matter whether plain or very extravagant, the designs by Alexis Mabille always look beautiful and are indeed wearable. Well, the main thing is that the obligatory bow is present.
