Inspiriert von ihren Reisen, holt Morgan Carper die ganze Welt in ihr Studio, ihre Kollektion und schließlich in den Kleiderschrank ihrer Kundinnen. Die Designerin muss wohl vor kurzem in Bolivien gewesen sein, denn die neue Herbst/Winter 2013 Kollektion experimentiert mit Mustern und Schnitten, welche typisch für diese Region sind. Selbst ein Hut fand Platz in der Kollektion und verleiht ihr etwas Ernsthaftes.
Durch die Linie scheinen jedoch verschiedene Einflüsse zu strömen. Zum einen wird das beige, südamerikanische Muster in schicken Kleidern, Röcken oder auch Jacken verwendet und mit Dunkelgrün und Schwarz kombiniert. Es ist ein eher geerdetes Thema und zeugt selbst in der bronzefarben-glänzenden Variante des Musters von einer starken Verbindung mit Wald und Natur. Ein ganz anderes Thema spiegelt sich jedoch in den hellblauen Farbtupfern der Kollektion wider. Diese sind wesentlich heller und scheinen, eine See- oder Meereslandschaft aufgedruckt zu haben.
Genauso hat das Label sehr lockere und schwingende Designs im Angebot, wie auch enge und statische. Weite Falten- wie auch enge Miniröcke sind vertreten. Frei fallende und auch körperbetonte Oberteile und Kleider sind im Sortiment. Kleine Details sind dabei eine zusätzliche Freude. In einem T-Shirt wurden unter der Brust, rechts und links, Falten eingenäht. Eine andere Bluse ist hinten länger als vorne.
Mit ihren Kollektionen nimmt uns Morgan Carper mit auf ihre Reisen. Die Orte sind sowohl in den Prints, als auch den Kleidungstücken selbst sichtbar und auch fühlbar. Mit den Kreationen von Morgan Carper kann man sich also den Urlaub bequem nach Hause liefern lassen.

Inspired by all the journeys, Morgan Carper brings the whole world in her studio and in the end also in the wardrobes of her clients. It seems as if she has been to Bolivia not too long ago, because the new Fall/Winter 2013 collection experiments with patterns and cuts, which are typical of this region. Even a hat found a little place in the collection and gives her a serious note.
Through the whole line different influences seem to be flowing. On the one hand she uses the South American beige pattern on neat dresses, skirts or jackets and combines it with dark green or black. It is a rather earthy theme and even in the bronze colored piece of this pattern it expresses the strong connection to the forest and nature. A whole different theme is seen in the light blue color splats in this collection. These are by far brighter and seem like they have a see or ocean landscape printed onto them.
The label also has very light and swinging designs to offer – and just as many tight and static ones. Wide pleated skirts and tight minis are represented. Free-falling but also more formfitting tops and dresses can be found in the assortment. The little adornments are always an added joy. One of the T-shirts has knits sewn into it below the chests on both sides. Another blouse is a little longer on the back than it is on the front.
With her collections Morgan Carper takes us with her along her journeys. The places are visible and even perceptible in the garments as well as the prints. With the creations by Morgan Carper you can have your holidays shipped to your home.
